-Hunt continues for the Swansea Bay Woman of the Year

Organisers of the Swansea Bay Woman of the Year Awards are urging people from across the bay to put forward nominations for this year’s awards.

The awards, now in their fourth year are once again sponsored by local law firm John Collins & Partners Solicitors LLP and recognise the achievements of women in five areas: Business, Community, Young Entrepreneur and new for 2007 Management and Technology. 

The 2006 title holder Emma Willey from ACS Environmental Services Ltd received her award in recognition of outstanding work in the field of business and for being inspirational figure to women across Swansea Bay.

Emma commented that “Receiving this award has already brought benefits to our business, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole awards process and had a fantastic time at the Ceremony back in November last year.  I would definitely encourage people to nominate a friend, family member or work colleague for this awards event – it’s been such a fantastic experience for both me and the business”.

Each category will be short listed and finalists will attend the dinner and awards ceremony on Friday 30th November, at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea where they will compete for their category and for the overall title of Swansea Bay Woman of the Year 2007.
