The Business Review is a free and impartial service which introduces established companies with several employees to the Business Centre’s Services.
A Business Review provides management with the opportunity to stand back from everyday operations and examine the business objectively. Managers that have undertaken a Business Review often describe a feeling of “being able to see the wood rather than the trees”.
An advisor guides the business through the process and produces a written report. Managers can stop ‘firefighting’ day to day issues for a morning and strategically plan for the short and long term future. The Review aims to establish…
• Where are we now?
The Review examines various aspects of the business including finance, operations and processes, customer orientation and human resources. This enables the business to establish strengths to build upon, weaknesses to overcome, new opportunities to exploit and threats to avoid.
• Where do we want to be?
By establishing clear aims for the future, the business can break its long term central vision down into smaller achievable objectives.
• How do we get there?
An action plan is agreed with an advisor enabling the business to prioritise and implement activities that will help the business become more effective and ultimately more profitable. |
