International Trading Opportunities

The Business Centre Swansea has established trading links and partners in a number of countries in European and China to encourage inter trading and to increase business opportunities between the regions. These have included, Cork Ireland, Sundsvall Sweden, Aarhus Denmark, Nantong China, Vienna Austria, and Doha Qatar. They have also attended Futurallia events in Belgium and Poland.

Following the success of the previous years Swansea Bay Partnership along with International Business Wales is now recruiting companies to attend Futurallia next year. Local Businesses from Carmarthenshire through to Neath Port Talbot can take the opportunity to strengthen their overseas networks and identify new market opportunities by attending this three day long international business forum.

Futurallia, Business Forum will be held in 2010 at the home territory of the main organisers in Poitier, France in the region of La Vienne the crossroads of Europe. They will be utilising the fantastic facilities of Futurescope to host the one to one meetings, networking and accommodation.

The event which runs from 28th – 30th April is an international business forum with up to 1,000 companies from over 40 countries in attendance. There will be scheduled one to one meetings with each participant selecting up to 20 meetings from an on line catalogue. As well as the full programme of organised meetings companies will be given the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of other cultures.
