Innovation Technology Counselling

Innovation and Technology Counsellors (ITCs) are a resource through which the Wales Assembly Government is able to deliver technical advice and innovation technology to, small and medium sized enterprises.

ITCs offer a wide range of advice and support relating to the introduction of new products and processes, the implementation and updating of new technology and the knowledge of 'state of the art' technologies and best practice standards.

• ITCs provide advice and support on a wide range of issues including:

• Commercialisation of innovative ideas, including licensing
• R & D, design and new product/ process development
• Implementation of new technologies
• Access to financial support, including innovation grants
• Technical problem solving
• Technology networks

They also provide links to academic institutions, any aspects of technology and a range of networks and fora, including facilitation of the Wales innovator's network.
