Below you will find an overview of the six courses that we are considering to offer in the near future...
Course 1 - Directors Responsibilities A Company Director is personally responsible under both civil and criminal law to ensure a range of statutory requirements are fulfilled. Failure to meet these obligations can result in serious penalties. This two day course aims to help prospective or recently appointed Directors to understand their duties and encourage the adoption of best practice. |
Course 2 - Marketing for Growth An effective marketing strategy is essential if a business is to achieve growth. This one day course is designed to introduce delegates to the essential elements of planning and achieving growth in sales and profits. Areas include market research and analysis, assessing and establishing viability, the business benefits of serving public, private and third sector markets, achieving market balance, costing and pricing, innovation and supply chain issues. |
Course 3 - Negotiation Skills Best Practice The ability to negotiate is a vital business skill and can help improve the effectiveness of relationships with customers, suppliers, staff and colleagues. This one day course aims to introduce a range of negotiation strategies and help Owner/Managers to identity, profile and adapt their negotiation style in order to improve performance. Learn tactics and techniques designed to help business succeed. |
Course 4 - Finance for Growth Understanding and taking decisions based on increasingly complex financial information is critical if a growing business is to be successfully managed. This one day course is designed to help Owner/Managers develop their financial management skills. The course covers how to read and analyse financial statements, develop financial management techniques such as the use of key ratios and be capable of using this information for business planning and operational purposes. |
Course 5 - Management for Growth The skills and knowledge needed to operate a business increase as that business grows. This one day course is designed to support Owner/Managers address strategic, tactical and operational issues. The course aims to demonstrate the business benefits of appropriate management systems and the effective identification of relevant objectives and use of key performance indicators. Owner/Managers will also gain a basic understanding of related regulatory and legislative issues. |

This course aims to improve a business’s chances of survival by introducing a range of practical tools and techniques. Aimed at businesses started within the last two years, this one day course focuses particularly on measures designed to help businesses succeed in a tough economic climate. Topics include managing costs, cashflow, raising your game and generating income. |
